Anyone interested in finding out all there is about Leadership Longview is hereby invited to come to the Longview Chamber of Commerce on May 30 for briefing on the organization’s application process, session curriculum, tuition and attendance policies. Lunch will be served. Leadership Longview is an initiative of the Longview Chamber of Commerce.
Its objectives are:
• Picking out local potential leaders, and then training them for positions of public and private service that require expert decision-making.
• Not only maintaining, but strengthening civic communications between community leaders by creating opportunities for mutual dialogue.
• To provide community education.
• To further awareness of problems, opportunities and issues of importance to the Longview community.
Graduates of Leadership Longview are empowered to become fruitful civic leaders who will improve the quality of life for all residents. Applications for attendance of the Leadership Longview 2013-2014 year are available at www.longviewchamber.com/leadership. Application deadline is July 19, 2013.
